In this sensitive and autobiographical theatrical essay, Jean-François Boisvenue explores the depths of his troubled psychological journey, translating his episodes of depersonalization and derealization into movement and stage imagery.
Video animations make the unspeakable visible in this intimate journey through generalized anxiety, using the body and images. The show was presented at Tangente in October 2021. We plan to revive the show in the coming years.
This stage work is based on a short film of the same name directed and performed by Jean-François, which has enjoyed tremendous success at festivals. Among other venues, it was presented at the prestigious Hot Docs International Documentary Festival in Toronto.
